Attitude determines attitude

I woke up early today, excited over all I get to do before the clock strikes midnight. I have responsibilities to fulfill today. I am important. My job is to choose what kind of day I am going to have.

Today I can complain because the weather is rainy or I can be thankful that the grass is getting watered for free.

Today I can feel sad that I don’t have more money or I can be glad that my finances encourage me to plan my purchases wisely and guide me away from waste.

Today I can grumble about my health or I can rejoice that I am alive.

Today I can lament over all that my parents didn’t give me when I was growing up or I can feel grateful that they allowed me to be born.

Today I can cry because roses have thorns or I can celebrate that thorns have roses.

Today I can mourn my lack of friends or I can excitedly embark upon a quest to discover new relationships.

Today I can whine because I have to go to work or I can shout for joy because I have a job to do.

Today I can complain because I have to go to school or eagerly open my mind and fill it with rich new tidbits of knowledge.

Today I can murmur dejectedly because I have to do housework or I can feel honored because the Lord has provided shelter for my mind, body and soul.

Today stretches ahead of me, waiting to be shaped.

And here I am, the sculptor who gets to do the shaping.
What today will be like is up to you.

You get to choose what kind of day you will have!

Today I can be mindlessly happy, rather than a grumbly exterior……I’d rather have a grumbly exterior thanks…people take you the wrong way when you are eternally optimistic, and tend to see you as a “nut”

Today I will be happy to go to my job….try ENJOYING your job as I did, being enthusiastic at evry turn, and watch the backstabbers come out with inferiority complexes….the sour women that complain loudly about very little (like “tone of voice)

Try being “nice”…..I reject polite society, as even when we KNOW we are getting a “RAW DEAL” we still have to smile and put on a goddamned happy face….Workplace women use this sick tactic all the time to cover their own innadequacies, or to confuse the issue, rather than back down and admit that they were whining about not much to start with….

In short….BE YOURSELF….happy or grouchy, angry or ecstatic, or just neutral in bwtween…this idea that we should be nice and happy ALL THE TIME is ridiculous….

And for the working women out there…just because someone “raises their voice”, it does NOT mean you have an automatic right to carry on in any fashion you please….

As for FINDING religion…..do you build bridges on “faith” alone?…no, thank Christ…so why build LIVES on FAITH ALONE…or BELIEFS….

Face it…..FINDING religion alludes to something, namely that you have LOST the damned thing to start with….what if you didn’t have a religion to start with…

Glad I don’t….I don’t want to go through life with a painted smile on my face, being NICE to people ALL the time….it’s no more of a natural thing than being ANGRY ALL the time…

Sometimes we are happy, sometimes angry, sometimes sad, sometimes ecstatic….let it FLOW

REJECT MINDLESS BELIEF AND POLITE SOCIETY for it’s own sake…run the full gamut of emotions…that is, if you have any APART from “nice”
