Locks of Love
Charity is one of the things I love about religion. No matter who you are or what you believe, you have the resources to make someone else’s life better. If you don’t have a lot of time, consider donating money. If you don’t have a lot of money, consider donating time by doing volunteer work. If you’re short on both, you can simply find other solutions.
For example, I recently cut off all of my hair to donate to Locks of Love. You have to have at least ten inches of fairly healthy hair, and then your hairdresser will put it in a pony tail and cut it off. All you have to do is mail it in and they’ll use it for creating wigs for children with cancer who’ve lost their hair.
Things like that really take little commitment, but can make a huge difference in the life of a child. Visit the Locks of Love Website for more details.
