Lovin’ Lakshmi

Tomorrow, I’m going to a Lakshmi Puja, which is a Hindu religious ceremony, and they hold it on campus every year around this time.

I went last year and it was a really nice experience. You don’t have to be Hindu to get something out of the ceremony, and in fact, most of the people who go to it are not Hindu.

Next time you have the oppertunity to worship with someone of a different faith, try it out. You don’t have to worship a Hindu god (or whatever) to be at the service–you can worship your own form of the Divine in place. It’s simple another way to worship.
