Relaxation and Meditation
Meditation is a core part of a number of religions, but even if you belong to a religious tradition that doesn’t focus on religion (or even if you’re no religious at all), meditation can be a great way to calm the body and engage in prayer or happy, positive thoughts. I’m easily distracted, personally, and if you’re like me, guided meditation might be the best option for you. Thankfully K-L Masina over at the blog Be Conscious Now has provided a list of 10 free guided meditations on the Internet.
After checking them out, my favorite number 9, the Heart Meditation, but I found all of them to be worth the while. If you have any favorite guided mediations, leave a comment with the link to less us know about it!
When we’re relaxed, we’re closer to God. Meditation is just one way to relax, but you can also try candlelit baths, massage, reading a good book, spending time with someone you love, or even just lounging around in your pjs all day! (Trust me, everyone needs to take a “mental health day” from work occasionally!)

Hey Allison,
Thanks for including a link to my meditation article.
I can’t even begin to describe what a difference meditation has made in my life. I started with guided meditations and then moved on to other types… I feel like a whole new person!
Much joy,
KL
